Tom Pudding Micropub
Simon and Alan opened this snug little pub in 2017, and its ever-changing Yorkshire ales won it CAMRA Pub of the Season in summer 2024.
Set in a converted newsagent’s shop two minutes’ walk from Goole station, this one-room micropub keeps four ever-changing cask ales — mostly from Yorkshire breweries — alongside at least three real ciders, with a gluten-free option always available. Inside it is all open brickwork and exposed ceiling beams, with room for around fifty drinkers, and dogs are welcome. There is an acoustic music session on Thursday evenings, and its position near the station makes it a favourite first stop for visiting sports fans and rail-ale explorers.
