The Counting House
Cocktails under Venetian-style ceilings in an 1884 banking hall, its original Minton tiles lovingly restored.
ADDRESS
58 Aire Street, Goole, DN14 5QE
This grand Aire Street bar opened in 1884 as the Leatham, Tew and Company Bank and later traded as Barclays; its conversion to a pub restored the original Minton floor tiles and elaborate glasswork beneath replica Venetian ceilings. Today it serves beers, wines, spirits and cocktails across two smart open-plan rooms, with a separate area set aside for pool.
