Milner’s is reckoned to be the oldest flower shop in Yorkshire — founded by Joseph Milner in 1857 and still run by the same family six generations later, with Howard Milner and his daughters Samantha and Jessica at the helm today. From the shop at 94-98 Boothferry Road the florists make up fresh bouquets, wedding flowers and funeral tributes, alongside gifts such as balloons, chocolates and vases. Order by 2pm and they will deliver the same day in town, or by 1pm for the surrounding villages.
